FIT FOR SURF

Whether you're a complete beginner or paddling out in double overhead surf, increased cardio fitness, power, mobility and agility are essential to becoming a better athlete in the water. 

The Fit for Surf programme is tailor made to the water lover. Taking you on a strength and conditioning journey, it looks at the finesse of the sport and how the body needs to move in order to succeed in the surf. 

There's a lot to cover so a minimum of 6 sessions is required to build an individual programme although 10 is highly recommended for best results.

FIT FOR SNOW

It's a beautiful bluebird of a day and there's fresh snow. Super excited to be in the mountains, you do one run and then you're wiped. Sucks doesn't it. It doesn't have to be that way, you just need to be fit, strong and ready for the mountains. 

The Fit for Snow programme is specially crafted to the individual looking to hit the slopes. Skier or snowboarder, leg strength is of upmost importance, muscular endurance, flexibility and joint mobility. You'll be blasting around the pistes or through the powder all day, no sweat. Well maybe a little bit of sweat. 

There's a lot to cover so a minimum of 6 sessions is required to build an individual programme although 10 is highly recommended for best results. 

 

FIT FOR TRAIL

It's just you and the trail, it does not judge, just winds and meanders. Follow it for as long as your legs can take you. Becoming a stronger trail runner is about better understanding the mechanics of your limbs, knowing how to strengthen and mobilise your body so it can keep going.

Fit for Trail is a run-specific strength and conditioning programme that looks at the exercises needed in our fitness arsenal to keep running injury-free. Lengthening, strengthening and mobilising, no stone will be left unturned on this road to becoming the best you can be on the trail.

CLIENT EXPERIENCE

Individual

Each client’s goals are considered to create workouts tailored to personal needs and training preferences. A bespoke programme is constructed taking into account exercise history and current fitness levels. We will work together to ensure your goals are clear and the path there is visible and unobstructed.

A listening ear is available 7 days a week should you want advice outside of training sessions.

Strong

This is your time to shine. These training sessions are for you to feel like you're moving forward and getting stronger, mentally and physically. Having a challenge to aim for is a great way to benchmark your achievements. If the by-product of your hard work is a smokin' hot bod, then fantastic, the medal will look great around your strong neck and lean shoulders. 

Safe

Working hard is non-negotiable but health and safety is paramount. Based on an initial consultation to ascertain you’re healthy* to train, clear instructional advice and demonstrations are given thereafter to educate you in more technical or challenging exercises. If at anytime you don't feel comfortable, you will never be forced to complete any sessions. Learning to recognise your limits is part of the journey, that way you know when to push past them! 

*health testing is based upon blood pressure, BMI, hip:waist ratio & body composition. You will be required to fill out a medical health questionnaire prior to the commencement of training.
